Honestly can't tell it was a clearance/open-box return — the blue aluminum handle still looks new and it cuts cleanly. The curve on the blade makes rocking through herbs way easier than my old straight pair. Glad I grabbed it at the final sale price.
The left-handed curve fits my grip perfectly—cuts smoothly right out of the box. For a clearance shear, the blade alignment and edge are impressive.
Wasn't sure about buying clearance shears, but these arrived sharpened and cut clean through wet hair with no snagging. The aluminum handle is lighter than my old pair, which my wrist appreciates during longer cuts, and I barely notice I'm using left-handed shears for once.
