Snagged one of the clearance 8-inch chunkers and honestly can't tell it was ever used — the edge came sharpened and cuts through thick branches clean. The dragon handle design is a nice touch too.
The edge on this thing is no joke — it went through a full chicken back without me even leaning on it. I was expecting a clearance sharpening job to feel a bit rough, but it cut clean from the first squeeze.
I was a little wary buying a sharpened clearance pair, but these cut through wet newspaper and dry stems with zero drag. The edge still feels factory-fresh, and honestly the chunker shape handles thicker branches better than my old pair ever did.
