The ice tempering really makes a difference—these blades have stayed sharp through multiple heavy-duty grooming sessions. The 3/16" cut is exactly what my dog needs for a neat summer trim.
The chrome coating on these blades really seems to reduce friction—my clippers run cooler even after several full haircuts. And the ice tempering must work because they're still slicing through thick hair without any snagging after a month of weekly use.
Swapped this onto my clippers for a 3/16" cut and it sliced through thick coat without snagging once. The heat-treated high-carbon steel still feels razor sharp after several grooming sessions, which I honestly didn't expect at this price.
