The curved blade on this shear really helps with contouring around ears and paws—much more control than straight shears I've used before. The 8-inch length covers plenty of ground without feeling unwieldy.

The 8 inch blade lets me get through a full doodle in way fewer passes than my old 7 inch pair. The curve is subtle enough that it doesn't gouge, just glides around legs and paws. Genuinely the smoothest curved shear I've used.
