The large gold one has noticeably denser pins than the purple, which works great for my thick-coated dog, while the medium purple handles her face and paws without scratching. I've been using the small one for daily touch-ups and the set covers every grooming need I have.
Finally, a slicker brush in three sizes that actually makes sense for my setup. I keep the medium one for daily use and the small for my cat’s face, and the gold large handles thick coats without snagging. The purple large being less pin-dense is a nice touch for sensitive spots.
The pins on the large purple one are spaced just right for detangling without scratching my dog’s skin, and having three sizes means I can switch to the small one for her face and paws. The gold one being more densely packed is a nice bonus for finishing touches.
